HOW YOU CAN HELP
Our organization is built by the community, for the community. As locals who grew up here, we believe that skateboarding, creativity, and mentorship can create positive spaces for youth in Kern County.
While we are currently in the process of finalizing our updated EIN and donation setup, there are still many ways you can support what we’re building.
Right now, Nano’s Barbershop & Skate Shop is serving as our community donation hub. If you have lightly used skateboards, decks, trucks, wheels, safety gear, or skate supplies, you can drop them off at the shop. These donations help us build second chance skateboards for kids who may not have access to gear. Every board we build helps get another kid rolling and connected with a positive community.
We also welcome donations of:
Used or new skate gear
Safety gear (helmets, pads)
Art or creative supplies for youth events
Volunteer time for community skate events
As soon as our new EIN and donation system are finalized, we will begin accepting financial donations to fund new skate gear, community events, youth programs, and scholarships for skate camps.
Until then, simply sharing our mission, donating gear, or spreading the word helps us grow and reach more kids in our community.
Gear donations can be dropped off at:
Nano’s Barbershop & Board supply
Bakersfield, California
Together we can keep the tradition alive and create more good times with skate friends.
